Keegan James and the dragon's heart amulet is a fantastic young adult adventure novel that will take on a perilous journey filled with magic and uncertainties.

In this story we follow Keegan and his sister, Terri. As Keegan is kidnapped and thrown into the slave mines of Kilimanjaro, he has no clue what's in store for him. On the other hand, Terri with a group of nuns are in tow for the rescue operation. 

On their way, they meet a one hundred and fifty years old teenager named Tosh. As their quest for the dragon's heart amulet begins, soon enough they realise that there are others who are also looking to acquire this magical amulet for their ulterior motives. As the perilous journey takes them through the intersections of fantasy, mystery and intriguing adventure. 

This was such an amazing and fun reading experience. The adventures and overcoming unimaginable hurdles along with fast-paced and crisp narration definitely made me excited to see how their quest would go. The author's impeccable writing style draws you in right from the beginning and honestly I think I have ever read anything as uniquely crafted storyline such as this one.

As the other books in the series are already published, I think this is a perfect book series recommend to the ones who cannot wait to read next books after finishing up the first one. I was completely mesmerized by this story and will definitely pick up the next one.
