Abortion Was My Birth Control by Evelyn E. Mosley-Brooks

A book revolving around Abortion and how it impacts the lives of people everywhere. This book is an account of personal journey that may help others in their worst times.

Abortion Was My Birth Control is about women who have had an abortion as a form of birth control and, as a result, are now suffering barrenness, depression, shame, guilt, and unforgiveness. It’s also about how men fall between the cracks, suffering from regret and insecurity due to the women in their lives having an abortion.

The book includes some anonymous testimonies from women who have had or almost had an abortion and a man who endured the pain of a woman having an abortion that he did not know about. This book aims to help people free themselves from the stranglehold that keeps them in bondage, so they decide against having an abortion. Both men and women readers will be redeemed and set free from the bondage of the sin of abortion.

I like how this book focuses on love, faith and forgiveness even at such dire times. It's a book that gives strength and offers an understanding hand. This book teaches us to be the best versions of ourself through getting to know the inner self.

I would recommend this book to those who are okay reading the sensitive topic of Abortion.
