Metallic Heart by Liahona West is the first part of this book series with many more exciting sequels to come. The book is fiction of a different kind with an exciting storyline and plot for giving the readers a new taste with the thrill of cruel reality.

Eloise always has seven knives on her person. One for each year after her sister was killed in a car accident. Her one goal as the world's only female with nanites in her blood is to save the life of a single person - the little boy her sister adored the most. Until she can't anymore. Bannack, on the other hand, returns to collect the rewards due him for his seven years of service. He never expects to run into Eloise, a woman from his past, and he doesn't expect her to reawaken feelings he felt were long gone. Eloise and Bannack must make the most courageous decision of their lives. Can't reveal much without expressing the main extract of the story! You need to get this book to know that!

A metallic heart is not just a name. It is the representation of the strong soul of Eloise and her struggle through various wrong happening all her life. Her life is not just like a fairy tale but filled with thrones altogether. Due to the excessive suffering, she is somehow mentally distressed and her demeanour and switching up of moods while doing communication with Bannack is the proof of the fact. The character shook me up for being quite similar to a real-life person in my sphere.

This book is recommended for serious and inquisitive readers with an avid interest in the storyline. The author with her exceptional writing skill crafted the story around vivid character sketch and powerful words. Highly appreciated.
