Threads is a captivating story of intertwined lives and fates of the characters united by the emotional connection of grief, love, and hope.

Told in three perspectives, we follow Irena, Gavin and Columba. When Irene’s life shatters due to the loss of her child, knitting comes to her rescue. Her passion for the same, seems to ignite a tremendous chain of local events, where Gavin with an oddly curious business proposal of fast fashion food chain to expand to used clothing charity.

However, the story further delves into much more than that, a woman named Columba steals one of Irene’s sweater that was accidently dropped into shipment that was inbound to Chile. This beautiful sweater enthralled this mother who has also lost a child. When this little thing gets transform into icon, it opens up a new path for fresh beginnings, hope, solace and healing.

With the beautiful incorporation of magical realism and sentimental resonance, this book will win your heart with its charmingly engaging narration and characters. The author's flair for creating stories with character- driven plot is utterly impeccable as it gives these characters a touch of reality. The other themes of hyperconsumerism and environmental deterioration has been time to time explored in this book.
