Chopped but still sassy By Saira Musa (Review)

Happy Wednesday. 😇

Book : Chopped but still sassy.

Author : Saira Musa

Rating : 10/10📚✨

Chopped but still sassy, is an alluringly well-written contemporary romance about the ebb and flow of a new blooming relationship along with the electrifying and passionate events of love and joy. This is the first book in Chef wanted for Violantè book series.

We follow Claudia Sequiera, who participated in the contest that had an ultimate winning reward of working as the Executive Chef for the Violantè of Santa Cruz, CA. However, she was eliminated from the competition because of a reckless mistake. Amando Violantè, the manager and the co- owner was an intimidating man. His closeness and masculinity was although distracting she kept her head calm and collected.

But while exiting the building, she collapsed. At first, Amando was all aloof but realisation dawned when Claudia's health condition came into light. Fearing repercussions on their image and reputation, he decides to pay her medical bills to stop her from suing them.

But this was just the beginning of something that will pull them even closer to each other. As simple as the event takes place it was however a story that will enkindle the passion and romance unlike anything they have ever experienced before.

I read this cover to cover within two hours and I absolutely enjoyed it. Suffice to say, this book totally took me by surprise in the best way. The author has kept both the storyline and characters quite compelling which gives you the best of both worlds. The story starts off on an interesting note and it immediately got my attention. The desires and lust was palpitated throughout the book. The characters had layers to their personalities which unravels with igniting embers of smoldering heat. The protagonists become enamored with each other without even knowing. This story left me blushing... Like a lot.

I'm sure this will be delightful read for the readers who love contrasting but strikingly excellent plot with characters who are different yet feel the same love and intimacy. I'm excited to read the other two books in this series.
