Amiable home town is the author's memoir that's impeccable and touching. This gratifying literary content encompasses memories which she holds dear to her heart and shares it with us with love and care.

This book consists of a collection of life events of Bing who grew up in the southern part of Philippines that was famous for owning a bad reputation. But things were different for Bing, she never considered it to be terrible place because this place was her home. Her friends and family along with cherished memories made this place a treasure trove.

"No matter the outcome, If you do your best, God will do the rest, and if it is for you, it will come true." This was one of few quotes that absolutely made me fall in love with this book. Each chapter brings words of wisdom and knowledge where encouragement and support with immense love is wholeheartedly explored. Suffice to say, this book brought the acute nostalgia for my childhood as I was able to connect with Bing and her sentimental evocation.

A stunningly beautiful and heartwarming story. The unique manner of the narration definitely stole the show. Although I have read stories told through the point of view of children, never have I read such profound and emotional narrative. This is a memorable read that will stay with me for a long time. Bing, as a character would definitely resonate with the other young readers/ children because her thoughts and emotions were absolutely realistic, the situations as well as the events that are described are truly mesmerizing because of Bing's reaction. These stories carry an essential moral which is like a life lessons to learn from. You see and understand everything from a child's perspective.

If you love reading collection of well-written stories with extraordinary morals then this is a perfect book recommendation for you. This will greatly influence you to appreciate and enjoy each moment of life.
