Home is within you , a memoir by Nadia Davis , who has been a public figure of California , former wife of California's attorney general . The book is for her three sons wherein she talks about her struggles of childhood and the trauma she faced which lead to addiction and relationship abuse . 

  Apart from this , she has also mentioned about healing and spirituality . 

She has made sure she pass it on her children about her life challenges and impart to them the impression of how courageously she has fought throughout her life to play her role of a woman , a wife and a mother . 

  What attracted me the most about this book was her openness and honesty even after being a public figure , the author has made sure she lay out her life perfectly on these pages . 

  I would highly recommend this book to everyone to understand struggles of addiction and mental health and the healing methods for the same .
