The Wallflower and The Butterfly is captivating narration of a young butterfly who flies into a problematic situation but soon builds friendship that will put a smile on the readers face. An enchanting children's book with black and white illustrations, this is an absolute must read.

Follow the story of Stella, a Zebra Longwing butterfly who flies into a house. With her curiosity she decides to explore this new, strange place. But unfortunately she loses track of time and also witness a terrifying scene. As she tries to find a way out, Stella forms friendship with two others, one is Azul, a cornflower who has been residing on the kitchen wallpaper and other is Buford, the house cat and the best buddy of Azul.

With interactive storyline, this book will surely engage the kid's ingenuity and creativity. The author has written the story in such an unique manner that each character has something good to offer. All of the friends carried their own thoughts and personality which was commendable. The writing style shows that it wasn't a spur of the moment story rather a well thought and carefully curated chapter book. It was absolutely amazing. There were so many morals that the author expressed through her writing creating an approach of positive outlook and excellent capabilities that anyone can build with good intentions and humble attitude.

These days children's books are evolving. They are no longer just one simple story, instead kids are asked to express their views on the topics or situations that could trigger both happiness or sadness within them. The Wallflower and The Butterfly teaches the importance of friendship and being affable if when life puts you in difficult situations. A must read for all the children.
