Night terrors is an intensely macabre literary work that emphasizes on the monsters who are terrifyingly upsetting and fearsome. These monsters are brought to life with fine illustrations consisting of strikingly creepy appearances and making sure to give you nightmares.

Written in rhyming verses, Night terrors interpret the deadly creatures who have unnerving and twisted sense of living. The meticulously detailed presentation of these beasties with incomparable distinguishing characteristics that will make you brace for unceasing dread.

If you think horror is a genre that has been gathering a reputation of being monotonous and banal, then you should pick this up because Kristen's darkly haunting creatures will leave you absolutely rattled. Seriously this was such and unparalleled frightful read and I absolutely loved it.

What an apt title for this unique terrifying book. The author describes each monster and their modus operandi in a vivid manner that would leave you scared. Little tip Do not read this book at night time, the monsters might creep out from the book to wreak havoc. It would be reasonable to assume that the author's creative writing style and genius imagination are absolutely remarkable as each monster had their own illustration which were visually stunning and macabre. I loved these black and white illustrations, all done by the author herself.

I'd recommend this to the readers who aren't afraid to venture out into the darkest corners without the fear of being haunting. When the author says "not for faint hearted and weak bladder" believe her!! She'll twist your imagination to see what she saw and wrote. This was one of the best horror/ petrifying book that I read in a while. Purely and utterly terrifying! Definitely a must read for horror genre loving readers.
