The children of the sun and the moon is a fantastical retailing of the Robin Hood folklore. An enthralling adventure that will take your passion for thrills to the next level.
When Sir Guy of Gisborne is incarcerated, he loses all hope. However, a maiden appears to him and is ready to help him escape the miserable jail. Aligned to this, Lady Claudia, the sheriff receives order to end the rebels of Robin Hood and his team infamous comrades on the order of the prince.
As the adventures commences, the troubles and hurdles soon follow suit. With destiny having the upper hand what happens when an ancient call comes out to play. Discover the eternal bond between the children of the Sun, the Moon and the Forest, and witness a rollicking adventure of the classic legend and scenic county of Nottinghamshire and the woodlands of Sherwood Forest.
As intriguing as the title is, the book is segmented into three parts namely The Forest, The Sun and The Moon. Right from the beginning, when the prologue is given to the readers, it primarily summarises the plot cementing a foundation for the same. That was my favourite section of the story because it created a special ancient folklore effect with all the intriguing details. There are stories running parallel to the main plot and when it finally interweaves along the way of the journey, those were the best moments of the book. Being a multi layered plot the characters are given enough time to flourish and developed. However, this no way diminishes the adventurous and mysterious elements of the story. Every big revelation is a edge of your seat kind of experience. There are so many things that I can go on and on about the plot and the story but doing so would potentially give out spoilers and I wouldn't want that to happen. Also the speech by Robin Hood, it was such an inspiring and astoundingly well written component of the book.
