Fearless Katie by Jennifer Dziak is a story of crossing the path of two worlds in an unprecedented way. The perspective of one is different from the other side but seeing the sight from the same angle can change the view in effect. This story is somehow related to this phenomenon.

Katie Atwood isn't your ordinary adolescent. Katie knows she will die young after being diagnosed with a rare genetic disease that prevents her from feeling pain. She is frequently reminded of her fate by her distant father and overprotective mother. Katie continues to follow the regular procedures that are supposed to keep her secure. Katie is overwhelmed by the passion and mayhem when a fire kills her neighbour and she begins to fall for Owen, the enigmatic new boy in town. She now has to walk a fine line between danger and safety like she's never done before.

Owen Morris and his younger brother, Alex, have always been best friends. The Morris family is swept from their hometown of Chicago to a rural community in Ohio by changing winds. Owen encounters Katie, a girl with a rare illness and an even rarer soul, as he fights to cope with the storms of his inner turmoil without the solace of his brother. Katie quickly teaches Owen that he would rather accept the unknown than be afraid of it. That is until a natural disaster threatens the people he loves the most in the world.

They find that there's more to aching than physical discomfort when they work together.

Tbh, I loved the story and plot so much. It suggests something positive when it delivered the message saying You can't be harmed unless you feel pain. This is the key content of the tale through the colourful character omnibus. The pace is quite good with a vibrant colour towards the title.

I genuinely recommend this book for the practical story lover through the garden of fiction. This story will surely touch your soul. My best read for the weekend.
