Breaking the toxic patterns of certain habits and lifestyle choices, the author gives quick, meaningful and worthwhile approaches that we can adhere to or impliment effectively.
We cannot deny the fact that our lifestyle and choices have been impacting on vastly on our life in a long way certain things are have lost its dazzle. Exhaustion is the byproduct of that which leads further towards complications being straight away connected with mind and body. Given the choice, we are allowing ourselves directly or indirectly to let exhaustion and the pressure of our day to day operations sabotage our state of calm and peace. Our energy which powers us to commit to tasks and responsibilities gets depleted rapidly by the end of the day and in turn has a long term impact on our mental health.
It's high time to review ourselves and see that mental health is just as important as physical health, afterall it's not without a reason that the concept of mental health and its relevance have been gaining popularity among the people. We are getting more aware and accepting this which were disregarded as either next to nothing or labelled harshly in the past. In this book, the author has written about many noticable traits such self-doubts, self-critical scrutiny, fears, procrastination, priority struggles, multitasking and many more reasons that have inevitably resulted in the underlying exhaustion and physiological ramifications. But don't panic, with the causes of this problem, the author has provided successful and succinct psychological techniques to avoid any further pitfalls or burnouts such as Activation Energy mode, The 80/20 rule, acknowledging drainers and energisers and more.
The writing style is lucid and each concept was easy-to-follow. Encouraging the readers to chase after all the things that make them happy while combating the triggering of patience and power draining exhaustion including the physiological responses. With balanced representation of nonfiction and self-help, reading this book, I felt like listening to a friend who knows me and my problems, is giving me the much needed encouragement and advices that can help improve my life.
Another thing that I appreciate about this book was that the author, every step of the way asked the readers to assess their thoughts, recognise the patterns and make notes, set reminders of various positive and invigorating predication.
If you are someone who is struggling to find the middle ground when it comes to balancing life and stay within your optimum zone, pick this book up for your next read.
It is insightful and helpful in a way that will make a huge change in your life.
