The seed of Rosewood is a powerful page turner of a book that captivates its readers to embark on a journey of healing, resilience and love. Set in the 18th century, we follow a story of 15- year old boy Patrick who was unexpectedly kidnapped and snatched away by a band of pirates from his birth place. This leads to unraveling of a chain of events that outlines the harshness and tough times he has to endure.

The sense of loss and betrayal becomes so profound and expressive that he begins to lose hope but a ray of hope bright and strong deters him from the unknown. Patrick's narration and propelling thoughts will give a glimpse of survival and slavery that will shock you to the very existence.

I was searching for a profound read that will not only grip my attention but also provide me a sense of understanding and solace, this book was perfect for that. There are so many events that go around in this plot and it is weaved quite extraordinarily. The author's writing style is beyond anything I have ever come across. 

I'd highly recommend this book to curious readers who know that reality can be harsh and there will times when you are emotional vulnerabilities will become your strength and courage.
