This follows Allyson who is a baker and cake designer at Toni’s Tasty Treat. She has been working there for three years and has two wishes. First to open her own bakery and second to live happily ever after. She knows both of these are fairytale wishes but hope has got her going so far and she is not going to let that go now. When her boyfriend, Kyle unexpectedly breaksup with her, she is heartbroken and confused.

Ally’s bestfriend and roommate, Derek has always been there for her. Until one night with booze and dancing the dynamic changes. Its upto Allyson to decide whether to risk it or to play it safe. What will she pick ?

A cute and heartwarming tale of romance and dreams. The main characters are amazing and when their relationship blooms, it was such a sweet moment. I feel that every romance enthusiast will definitely resonate with Ally, her character was written in a manner that will keep you smiling at all time. The relationship dynamic between characters and themes such as love, friendship and dreams amplified the plotline that will stay with you long after you have completed the book.

Erin McKnight’s awesome writing style is absolutely fantastic as she engages her readers in a swoon-worthy romance. Reading this book as a delight because the author curated this entire story with just the right proportion of witty and romantic. The talks about freshly baked confectionaries and cakes simply made it more enjoyable than ever.
