Adley's farm is set in a countryside and follows a character named Arthur. When Arthur Adley is diagnosed with a complex chronic disease, he starts worrying about his farm and the animals residing in this. Each day and every waking hour becomes a struggle for him. His companion and buddy e named Jess is a border collie who accompanies him around the farm.

Seeing the dilapidated condition of his beloved farm, is gradually breaking him but he has not given up yet. As the disease begins to progressively take over it puts a risk of losing the farm.

Adley's farm puts the focus on the disease known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), a Chronic Neurological Disease. The author through his story wants people to be aware and understand this chronic disease. Besides this the author's lucid characterization of Arthur definitely won my appreciation. His emotions and love towards animal dispersed the knowledge of kindness and generosity. It was definitely a well written book with a deep reverberation. I loved the writing style which prompted me to finish the novel in one go.

If you are looking for a quick but captivating book then Adley's farm is a must read for you. This book will put certain things into perspective as it will change your way of thinking and recognising the importance of various emotions.
