After Life is a collective history based on the loss, redemption and navigation of American life. Sectioned into four parts, this book is deemed as a "bold experiment" that will provide the readers a clear view of the early 2020s.
The book also analyses the importance of various noteworthy events that will be remembered in times to come. Each section offers a significant explanation while denoting the political, social and civil aspects of the country.
I think this is a well explored and deeply engaging book that navigates through the peaks and valleys of American history. It has different sections that explore the problems that global pandemic COVID 19 brought along and the raging topics of corruption, discriminations, racial justice and equality, empowerment and many more such thought-provoking subjects.
The book has incorporated how Americans have dealt with grief and loss during the lockdowns and quarantine and prepare themselves to live and thrive once again. Despite the odds, America is "a nation of survivors" and this is an intriguing work that explores the particular subject.
I would definitely recommend every reader to read this book because it contains much more than what I was able to convey through my words. It's an eye-opening book.
