The Barn By Rudo Muchoko ( Review )

Happy Wednesday 😇

Rating : 10/10📚✔️

The Barn is a fast-paced short story with stoic narration and unclear storyline. While it was interesting, I wasn't impressed with the ending.

Sally and William are 10 year married couple with 8 year old twins Lily and Thomas. Sally is sweet, kind and welcoming and starts having disturbing dreams about her husband and neighbor. She visits the new pastor Ken in village and he guides her on how to keep a calm mind.

Sally meets Fatima who is new in the village and a teacher. Sally plays Cupid for Fatima who is a sweet, well mannered girl and Pastor Ken.
Everything is going beautifully but problems arise when Sally's dreams starts coming true.

I really liked the plot though ending could have been better.
The book describes village life and how people of that village were warm & welcoming. Descriptions of festivals and daily life was soothing.
While it was a good book, much was left unanswered.
I would recommend this book to readders into crime/drama fiction.
