 As Parents, We Love Our Children Dearly And One Thing We Struggle With Is Letting Go. We Struggle With The Fear Of Not Looking After Them Enough Or Not Being The Best Parent And We Tend To Want To Shield Them From As Much Harm As Possible. As A Result, We ‘over-parent’ Or Shield Them Excessively.

Raising Today’s Teens by Aima Awenlimobor is a marvelous and short read for every parent. Although the title highlights"teens" but this book is helpful for parents of all ages children. The best quality of the book is it doesn't feel like you are reading something it feels like you are talking to someone in an interesting manner. 

This is so well written and the author raised it from very basic to high stressed issues of parenting. The author shared her perspective for everything like why she personally doesn't like boarding schools and all.

Although the whole book is a pleasure to read and loaded with lots of knowledge "Over parenting " was my favorite chapter. This was a real eye-opener for me.
