Strength is the second book in The Ninth Circle series. In this book, the Morgenstern sisters find themselves in a whole new set of troubles with an unavoidable danger hanging steadfast over their heads.

With the trinity finally broken away and the triple goddess of war, Morrígan banished and the Morgenstern sisters were blamed for the death of the Ninth Circle lord, they find themselves in minacious circumstances.

As the stakes get high so does the precarious stability and safety which lays questionable at this point. With arrival of an old foe, the imminent dangers have gained a upper hand. Tala who is still coming to terms with the fact that she is the daughter of the demon king, finds herself and her sister in the middle of a chaotic situation which might just doom the entire humanity and break the Morgenstern sisters apart as the emerging forces and a king of hell is ascending on them. 

Book two has truly set the bar high for an epic fantasy book. Usually sequels are considered as languid because of the lack of conformity within the plot however, C.A. Harland surprises the readers in the most astonishing manner possible. With an epic proportions of high octane scenes and a curiously exciting plotting of the story, she has weaved an another massively impressive fantasy novel. The characterisations was top-notch and the story was utterly fascinating as it hooked me from the beginning. I really loved the way she created this elegantly terrifying world and the concept of circles of hell with seismic rush of shocking revelations making a truly stellar and explosive fantasy novel.

Curious about the demons, nine circles of hell, risky undertakings and an adventure of a lifetime, then go and get yourself a copy of this book, it will blow your mind away.
