A Generational Cry: Based On A True Story Of The Haitian Revolution By Rose Francois

In The Morning, The Rain Poured And Created Muddy Grass All Over The Island. At The Coffee Farm, Suzanne Sat On The Porch Reading A Book Despite The Rain. When She Saw Marie-jean Running Down The Muddy Field From Her Cabin She Cried Aloud And Yelled For Toussaint. The Rain Started Pouring Harder As She Ran, And The Mud Splashed On Her Feet With Each Step. Her Blood Boiled In Pain As She Ran For Comfort From Her Brokenness. Suzanne Knew She Had Some Bad News, So She Got Up And Ran Inside To Grab Toussaint. Soon After, Marie-jean Ran Inside The Cabin, Pouring Wet.

A Generational Cry: Based on A True Story of the Haitian Revolution By: Rose Francois is a story of fight to end racism. It's based on a real story and made on the plot of 1720-1805 💯 in West Africa and Saint Domingue ( modern day haiti )

The story starts with the story of the childhood of the main characters, this is very interesting to read how a dream decides their destiny and what's the meaning of that dream. This is extremely sensitive to read how the previous generations fight for their sovereignty, freedom, and rights.

Yes, we still fighting against racism but we have to admit that they made our path easy to fight for our rights and set the example to not to accept the wrong. It gave me a new perspective to see and respect our older ages, and roots.

The characters Paul, Toussaint, Gaou, and Claude-martin are very strong 💪. And engaging.

The starting was a little dull but the further read is like a ride on a rollercoaster. I ended up this book with lots of knowledge.

I'm already a big fan of the author and following her on social media. I loved how she is active and updated about all the current issues.

The book is very engageable and worthy. The story is generously described.

I highly recommend you to read this book and let me know your thoughts on it in the comments. 📍
