Black Diamonds is the 3rd book among the Jet Black: the prelude Series by Bre Ashley. 

In this book, Bre addresses the various issues and inequality faced by the black community at every other step relating to basic human needs and rights specially poor health care systems. 

Further she discusses about depression and tough times which wavers one's believe in truth, justice and faith, which generally is bound to happen during puberty. 

When you struggle to believe and to hold on, do not give up and do not loose faith but to remember that god is by your side at all times, and one should always stand by the side of truth. Connect yourself with the lord almighty and pray to Jah( God) to bring peace to your inner self. 

I have to say that she pours out her heart in every poems she writes and she had done so in the previous two books as well. My favourite poems so far were disabili-tea, and keys to the cuffs. It's no wonder to me why i find it so relatable and touching. 

I wondered, Why is this book named black diamond? To which bre says just like diamond, truth is also hard and they can not be broken. So one should be like diamond, tough and unbreakable. Live your life with pride along with truth and to not bow down toward lies and biasedness. 

I recommend this book to everybody, even if you haven't read the previous ones you would certainly be compelled to read them.
