The Dark Descent by Kimki Kita📚

The Dark Descent is Kimki Kita's first novel that portrays a heightened version of her encounters with psychosis. Through her storey, Kita hopes to encourage others to advocate for their mental health by displaying her struggles.📚

Kokoro will face the greatest challenge of her life after the death of her grandmother which is psychosis. This autofiction, based on true events, will take you on the journey of a mentally ill twenty-year-old in Southern Ontario, Canada, who must fight for her sanity.📚

This book is based on the disturbing mindset that she faced throughout his young age. The treatment and trauma are what she familiar with due to her struggles for getting out of the illness.📚

I like the diary-style writing depicting the day to day events of a disturbing situation. This description of the author truly shook me and make me realise how mental illness can be a dangerous phenomenon in human life. It's far more dangerous than physical illness due to our utmost ignorance towards it. The author sometimes described some situations which are quite familiar to anyone at that age. Her emotional breakdown was something that will haunt you even after finishing the book.📚

I would recommend this book to every parents and teenager to know about the serious burning issue. This issue must be the topic of discussion for everyone right now. The suicide rate is increasing day by day due to severe mental breakdown. Just to know the practical situation this book is enough.📚

Thank you, Kimki Kita, for giving me the good opportunity to read this wonderful book of yours.📚✔️
You wrote it very well.📚
