The author wanted to share the grief of her life as a black woman, the consequences of which she had to suffer. she wrote some lines on Sandra Bland who was found hanged in a jail. And she wrote about the police violence on a black man in 2020 in United States. And how black people were got treated by white Americans during covid.

she wrote about her trust issues in the book. Her life Her journey and many more.

The purpose of the book was justice for black people. All black people want to live a normal life without fear of fair skin and criticism.

All the poems written by the author in the book is short, emotional and lyrical. I'm not an expert but i understand the meaningful messages between Poetries, and You can hum some poems like a song. it's really a great poetry work.

I Recommend this book to everyone because this work deserve to appreciated
