Where The Crawdads Sing By Delia Owens ( Review )

Author : Delia Owens

Rating : 8.5/10 📚✔️

Starting with my favorite line of the book:

“His dad had told him many times that the definition of a real man is one who cries without shame, reads poetry with his heart, feels opera in his soul, and does what’s necessary to defend a woman.”📜🖋️

Where The Crawdads sing written by Delia Owens, is a heart-stopping story of survival, hope, love, loss, prejudice and loneliness. About a girl named Kya who is abandoned by her family & left with the drunkard father in the marsh at the age of 6 years.📣📝

The books cover, title and the storyline is just amazing. The theme of colors used in the cover page is done in an awesome way.📙✔️

In the books plot, Kya was a child of 6 year old. And her Mother and all there siblings leave her. with her often absent, drunk, and abusive father. She is left to care for their home, to cook, clean and take care of both of their needs.⚖️🧲

She had to learn to shop, to cook and to make food for herself in her father's absence. All while dealing with loneliness, feelings of abandonment and loss. Always wondering when and if her Mother will ever return.🚩🚩

Do you also have such questions in your mind.🤫

What's up with kya's family ?😲

Why would kya's mother leave Kya ?🙄

Could kya's mother ever return?🧐

When kya found happiness in her life ?🤔

If you want to know these answers then go and read this painfully beautiful book.🔥🔥

There is really not much to say, except read it!!📖📖

I would absolutely love to see this turned into a movie, it is perfect in every way and I think this might be one of my favourite terrifying movie.🎥🎞️
