The Black Rainbow  of Oz is the 2nd one among "The New Oz Chronicles Series". 

In the previous book, When the nightmares haunted the residents of Oz, Dorothy and her companions faught to protect the peace and serenity and the whole ordeal was over or was it just the beginning of something more wretched? 

The Wicked Old Mombi is up to another mischief to disrupt the reign of Peace & force of good in Oz, She sought Old Nikdik to advance her plan of ressurecting the notorious Black Rainbow now that she had obtained The Morrorwood sap from the Nightmarish Dusktree. 

The princesses are not seeing eye to eye, and the wretched plan of evil villains are upon them. What would happen if they succeed in summoning the Black Rainbow? Are our heroes up for another fight to protect their world? Get this book to taste the flavour of fast paced adventure, magic and mystery. 

I liked the writing style, as it was easy to read and felt like a stroryteller is reciting the story out loud. 

I would recommend this book to Kids and young Adults, this is a boon to those who enjoy being in charismatic fantasy world. This book will not disappoint you either, that's for sure.
