Rating: 9.5/10📚✔️
Coming Home: Victoria by V L Piersall is quite a practical picture of a true incident very common nowadays. This is the comeback of a victim of wrongful suffering through the help of his near and dear ones. The rejuvenation of the core darkness of depressive thoughts to bright sunlight.
Victoria must take over the operation of the family horse ranch after her father's death, a challenging job to be sure, but she's up for it. She's even pleading with her sisters to return home and assist her so that they can reunite as a family.
Victoria learns that her first love, Dylan, has loved her for as long as she has loved him when he returns to their hometown after ten years in the war, and they embark on a whirlwind romance straight out of a storybook.
When Victoria is raped in her home by a vengeful ranch hand, everything changes, and she is left floundering, trying to reclaim her strength and trust. She would be able to get back to her old self with the aid of Dylan, her sisters, and the rest of her family.
The disturbing scene description of the bodily assault makes me a bit anxious and sad. But this is the reality which we need to face just to get out of it with proper care and love. This is a serious issue that is addressed by the author in a simple story. I like how the author portrayed the recovery of the victim to get a sweet life afterwards.
This is surely recommended to the readers for understanding the difficult times of a victim while she is trying hard to return to normal life. A practical story with lively explanation for making it more acceptable to the readers. Kudos to the author. I loved it so much.
Thank you, V L Piersall, for giving me the good opportunity to read this wonderful book of yours.📚✔️
